Issue: Error installing the ioTurbine software product on guests.
Error Message: Failed to run Guest package on VM Guest OS

Solution: This problem typically results when a user doesn’t have enough privileges to install the MSI package. If you’ve created a local user, even if you’ve added the user to the administrator group, this might occur.

The solution is straightforward – go to your Security Policies and disable the policy governing running administrators in admin approval mode. Appendix C of the GUI Quickstart Guide or Appendix B of the Administration Guide provide an illustrated guide to performing this task.
