Potential watchdog timeout in older versions of ioDrive software ( < 1.2.7 )
Issue:
This problem can occur when the system is under heavy I/O load and system time is changed by a large amount, such as for Daylight Saving Time. This will cause the affected ioDrive(s) to go offline until the system is rebooted.
Workaround:
Reboot the system to reattach the ioDrive(s).
Resolution:
Upgrade the ioDrive driver software to version 1.2.7.
Best Practice:
Upgrade the ioDrive driver before Spring Daylight Saving Time.
